The key to losing fat anywhere on your body is to do a combination of strength training and cardio, as well as modify your diet. This is a fantastic workout and you should incorporate it into your routine, but it should not be the only thing you do.

For nutrition, Canada’s food guide is a great resource. Stick to the recommended servings and follow the suggestions.

Make positive choices daily, get in your cardio and strength training and you’ll see sustainable results. Good Luck!!

If you want to burn fat you will need to do some cardio: running, biking, swimming, etc. These exercises build the ab muscles.

I recommend everyone join the Spark People community. It will really help you gain some much-needed insight about your fitness level. I climb for 2-4 hours every week and ride between 60-70 miles per week on single track. I still have some belly fat that flops around, but I can feel this workout. I do it everyday now. While I know I can’t target the belly fat, I now have a core workout that makes a difference. Thanks Nicole!
