I know what your talking about. You’re problem is that you probly aren’t doing the exercise with the correct form. Instead of pulling the back of year head with your hands while you curl up, just rest your hands there. Instead of curling your neck when doing the reps, just move your upperbody/head towards the sky. Look at the ceiling instead of your stomach. These things should help, but if they dont I would recomend seeing a trainer to advise you on correct form.
My abs could handle doing this daily, but my neck can only handle every other day. Hey, do the sore neck muscles go away eventually? I’m afraid I’m going to strain a neck muscle if I up this to daily or (God help me) 2x daily.
I really only felt this in my upper abs.. the ones where he was trying to target the lower abs just hurt less.. and it killed my neck so much that I couldn’t finish most of the exercises..
If you’re a girl this would make sense because women tend to have stronger lower abs and weaker upper abs. Plus these exercises target the upper abdominals a lot more than the rest.

Well, I agree with how doing this 3 times a day won’t help. Unless you are used to this and it’s like a routine thing for you.
But stressing your muscles will cause them to deteriorate, and will harm your body.
Oh, and I can’t say diet is 80% of gaining muscle, but it is a part of it. Diet will help you lose your fat, and make you look more cut. But doing this does help. You just won’t be able to see the abs till you lose all your fat first. :/
you guys are fucking retards. doing this 3 times a day will do nothing. your muscles need time to rest and just because you are swore, doesnt mean you are gaining muscle. diet is 80% of gaining muscle, so doing 1000 situps wont do shit. in conclusion, u guys are stupid fuckers.

If your necks hurt, it means you are doing the exercise with your neck.
Try focusing on your abs.Try doing the exercise with your abs and not with your neck and it will work. This guy is right.
If your neck hurts after doing this, you’re doing something wrong, or your head ways a ton.

I do these exercises 4 time a week, and cardio (20mn light running)3 time a week. It works actually !!
